 The choice of subjects for admission in B.Sc.(Maths Group) NEP for the session 2024-25

  1. The student will have to choose 2 Major subjects and One Minor subject from groups
  2. Minor subject will be allowed to be chosen from any group except the goup from which the Major subjects has already been chosen.
  3. The subject which has been chosen as major subject cannot be chosen as minor subject.

*If the candidate chooses the Self-Finance (SF) courses then the fees of the self finance subject shall be applicable.

The criteria for the seat allotment in B.Sc. (Maths Group) NEP for the Session 2024-25

  1. The number of seats in each subject shall be divided in two parts (Major and Minor)
  2. The (2/3)rd of the total number of sanctioned seats in each subject shall be given under the Major subjects
  3. The remaining (1/3)rd of the total number of sanctioned seats in each subject shall be given under the minor subject.

B.Sc. (Biology Group) NEP  Number of Seats- 240

B.A. NEP- The minimum marks required for General and Other Backward Classes candidates is 40% of marks* in Intermediate or equivalent examination and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 33%* of marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination. The percentage is based upon total marks of all the subjects.

Seat allotment in B.A. (NEP) PROGRAMME for the session 2024-25

  1. - The student will have to choose 2 Major subjects from groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H (one subject from any group)
  2. - One Minor subject will be allowed to be chosen from any group under Minor subjects except the groups from which major subject has been chosen as Major subjects
  3. - The subjects which have been chosen as major subject cannot be chosen as minor subject.

Note: Following points should be kept in mind in selection of subjects.

  1. - Candidates have to select three subjects from any three-group opting one subject from a group.
  2. - The candidates cannot offer more than two literatures.
  3. - The candidates cannot offer more than two practical subjects.
  4. - For opting Mathematics candidates must have mathematics as a subject in Intermediate.
  5. - If the candidate has passed out Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayag, Allahabad or Nadwa College, Lucknow and has not passed Intermediate Examination with English language then she is not eligible for admission.
  6. - Only those candidates can offer Urdu/Sanskrit from Group C who has studied Urdu/Sanskrit in High School/Intermediate.

B.Com. NEP

Intermediate or equivalent examination with Commerce or Mathematics or Economics. For General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure at least 40% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 33% based on total marks of all subjects.

RESERVATION AND WEIGHTAGE POLICY

Caste and income certificates shall be verified on Government website. All candidates who have sought some weightage or sub category reservation have to get their certificate. Candidates, who have sought any weightage or subcategory in their application form but do not provide certificate for verification will not be given the benefit claimed.
